I’ve been working as a trained Life Coach for 10 years now, and I absolutely love it!!

I love the power and apparent magic of coaching. The way it can jolt people out of static patterns of behaviour, opening up their minds and allowing them to reach for changes they’ve dreamt about, but never thought possible, or have battled with for various reasons.

My Coaching journey began after training as a Nutritional Therapist over 15 years ago. That training came as a knee jerk reaction after having lost a significant amount of weight myself, and wanting to help others from a nutrition point of view. (With hindsight, as a Coach, it’s not a great idea to go ahead and do things others think would be good for you!!).

Once I began practising nutrition, I quickly realised my passion lay, not in what people were eating, but what was going on in their lives, in their heads, and how they could create the motivation to effect big change to make themselves happy.

Since retraining as a Life Coach with The Coaching Academy, I have also become very experienced at coaching individuals who run their own businesses, and helping them enhance not just their private life, but also their business success and achievements.

I’m a naturally “cup half full” character, and my many clients over the years have enjoyed the lift of my sunny personality, as well as my knowledge and expertise. And I think this is worth a mention, as the connection and relationship you share with a Coach is so important. It should be trusting and uplifting, leaving you feeling refreshed and inspired.

My life experience, and the juggles I manage day to day have most definitely helped me to connect with my clients over the years. As well as running two busy businesses, I am married and have 2 children and 3 stepchildren. I’ve been managing a household of 7 for 10 years, and have learnt that everything is about progress, not perfection. And also, that yes, we want professional success, but our wellbeing, happiness and enjoyment of home life is so very important and often needs to come first for everything else to thrive.
